Fuji Wifi App For Mac

I am running High Sierra on a 27' iMac, current model. When I plug my Fuji X-T2 camera in, the camera itself shows the USB symbol, but there is no trace of the camera/disc/SD Cards in the Finder. I've tried looking for it in Image Capture, Photos, Aperture, Lightroom- none show the disc. Free software to download youtube videos for mac. I have downloaded Fujifilm X acquire and it does nothing. Doesn't matter if I have JPEG only RAW + JPEG, etc. Interestingly, I successfully installed Fuji's PC Auto Save, so I can transfer the photos over my WiFi to either my iMac or my iPad. The compressed RAW will open in Lightroom, JPEG in either LR or Aperture. So while not desperate I'm disappointed

  1. My Fuji Finepix S1 works excellent with this app. Downloads pics from my camera to my kindle in groups of 30. Start the app again to load another 30. The remote function works flawlessly. Will use to get nature pics. Don't forget to push your camera's WiFi button before use search for a WiFi connection.
  2. May 26, 2020 The FUJIFILM Camera Remote is an application provided by FUJIFILM that can operate wireless-equipped digital cameras by remote control to shoot images and to view images and movies in the camera and to transfer them to smartphones or tablets. And it also supports the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. Pair it with your smartphones or tablet devices, it synchronizes 'date and time'.
  3. Wireless printers, also known as WiFi printers, can connect to a network without needing to be hard-wired/cabled into that network. Once a wireless printer is connected to a WiFi network, the computers, smartphones and tablets also connected to that network can print to the WiFi printer.

I'd rather use the USB to transfer large numbers of pics, as it is faster. Am I missing something? Apple says that the camera is supported. Alternatively, should I just go out and buy a USB card reader and hope that the SD card will be there?
