So today I was updating one of my Playlists:- 6 hr 10 mins - 2020 - 330 followswhich is just a compilation of my last so that means every time I go to update I am adding between 12-20 songs at once, and then removing the around the same amount of songs.I opened up the Mac App to do this for the first time in 3 weeks and I couldn't select multiple tracks though I tried many methods such as: Ctrl + A, Shift + Click, Shift + Ctrl + A.   1. Open Launchpad (Launchpad can be open from Dock or doing spotlight search)
  2. Click and hold the desired app icon until the icons start shaking.
  3. Click the “X” button next to the app you want to delete
  4. Confirm you want to delete the app when prompted.

When you delete the app from the Launchpad, no emptying trash is necessary. OS X will delete it right away. So you can also not drag back the deleted app icon into your applications folder. —you won’t be able to rummage through the Trash and put it back in your Applications folder.

Note that in some of the deleted apps, preferences files might be left behind. Preferences files are the temporary or local files on your mac which define your personal settings or preferences for a particular app. However, these files have very small sizes so, need not worry about that. In some of the apps, developers provide the option with deleting all the related data to an app. Also, note that default apps which come with the Mac OS X cannot be deleted.
