This is especially true for applications that let you have more than one window open, such as Mail:If you check the Minimize windows into application icon box in System Preferences, however, your minimized windows will no longer reside on the right side of your Dock, but will instead “stack” or “hide’ behind their corresponding application icon. If you have just a single window open for a particular application, just click on the application icon in the Dock to maximize it. If you have multiple windows open in a given application, right-click, Control-Click, or click and hold on the application icon to see the minimized windows listed, and then left-click once on the one you want to maximize.Alternatively, with your desired application active, you can see a list of all minimized windows from the Window menu in the menu bar at the top of the screen.The downside to this approach is that you don’t get a visual preview of the window as you would when it’s minimized in the Dock, so you’ll need to rely on window names to find the one you’re looking for. The 3D aspect of FlexSim was just as powerful or more powerful than I could have hoped. Really pleased with the product and our decision. The Process Flow tool gives you an option that is really practical and real-world, especially in factories. Now, you have the ability to use Process Flow to get a very quick and rough, high level idea of which brainstormed ideas will provide the best output. Then, having used this to narrow down to 2-3 options, you can do detailed models in a much more focused way. With the two together [3D modeling and Process Flow], FlexSim is a fantastic product offering. Well done.
FlexSim support has been very helpful although I have asked rather tricky questions at times. Also, the quality of the answers has been good as the developers themselves have answered my questions if the normal support personnel has not been able to.
I recently completed a large distribution center modeling project using FlexSim simulation software. I was extremely impressed by the support that I received and the flexibility of FlexSim to model this complex (and massive) system. In the end, the project was considered a success and great investment by the client. The project team was able to use the model to validate the concept design performance over the planning period, identify opportunities for design improvement, and clarify/refine a shared understanding of how the system will actually work. I would highly recommend FlexSim as a modeling tool for large-scale systems based upon this experience.
FlexSim delivered a model that met all our expectations. We’ll be able to use it to validate the design of the system, and we’re excited to provide the end client with valuable insight for operational use.
