Each Sony Ericsson phone differs in the way it treats photo transfers from the phone to the computer, but there are two common ways to accomplish this. Depending on the phone you own, you might transfer photos using the Mass Storage instructions or the Media Transfer instructions.

just wondering, how does k800 behave when connected via usb? you know w810 mounts phone memory and the os likes to hang up while unmounting..
the k800i works like a charm on my ibook..phone memory and the memory card (if you have one) mount seperately, no problems unmounting..was quite surprised it worked so well!

And the time and iCal, they all work fine, i've tested all of it.
please, tell us how its usb connection works? i have w810i and this side was the biggest disappointment, i was hoping to charge and exhange pics and music via computer but i just don't bother, bought a memory card reader (wonder how many times i can take the memory stick in and out til the doors wil break and contacts become dirty) and charge by a charger. now considering k800 for my girlfriend.. thanks!

it is a nice fix, but i have some problem after installing this.
the iSync cant find the module for my old SE v800 phone.
any idea how to solve this?

Just remove the K800 plugin when you want to use the v800 and vice versa.
Download doesn't exist. This hint should be rescinded. Seems kind of suspicious -- file appears for a few minues on an unknown server, then disappears. If I was a Windows user, it would look like someone seeding a new virus.
And Reaperducer: I'm not forcing you to download it. You may think what you wish, but a lot of people fint it useful. And what do you mean by 'unknown' server, where do you want me to host it? Google? Do I look like the owner of Google to you?

It seems installing this under /Library/PhonePlugins disables all other plugins. Is this intdended?
When I transfer data from iCal on my iBook to my K800i using iSync, all the times on my calendar are consistently showing 1 hour earlier. Any ideas for a solution? Apart from this everything seems to work fine. I'm running OS X 10.4.7 and iCal 2.0.3.
Solved the iSync problem..deleted some duplicate files in iCal Contacts and it then worked fine. Weird, but it's now sorted I can stop stressing.
This plugin does not correctly map all Address Book fields (such as email addresses, birthdays, notes etc.). It also doesn't show the syncronizing progress on the phones screen during a sync.For one that does work properly, go here:

This works fine for me, All the numbers go over from Addressbook, iCal dates and tasks sync fine.
You can also SMS and dial from Addressbook which was key for me. You have a bit of a deal to get that to work with the paid plugin linked in these comments.
I got the plugin. However, isync still does not recognize my k800i. It says: Sony Ericsson k800i: This phone is not supported by iSync.
Where do i place the folder exactly? Location?

Works like a charm on my new K800i and macbook using bluetooth.
Actually.. the SMS function seems to have stopped working..and you can't dial using your Mac.
I am using the free one.
It reports incoming calls and gives the usual offerings. But not the features above.
i installed this plug-in but when i launched isync, it couldn't find the plug-in for my other phone (a nokia 6680). any fixes for this, anyone? should i make a copy of the phonelist from the package contents of isync into the news phoneplugins folder in my library?
I am having no end of frustration with my k800i phone and my mac mini. I just had bluetooth/airport installed on my mini and I have isync 1.5. I downloaded your code and it worked on a friends mac but it won't work on mine at all! :(
It searches for my phone but my phone gets a warning saying 'session ended' and my mac says 'no devices found'?
What do I do now? *sob!*
My phone seems to be working fine on bluetooth. although not sure how to use it all yet. so not sure what's up with the isync.

The image should also be closer to the size of other phones in iSync.
Also, if you have iSync 2.2 or later, you can unpack this into ~/Library/PhonePlugins, so you don't need to mess with /Library

Addressess (work and home) should now all sync properly, and the plugin should work for the K790i now as well as the K800i.

iSync v2.4 included in Mac OS X 10.4.9 update supports K800i (as well as other new devices) natively .

I updated to 10.4.9 but could not initially use the K800i. iSync kept saying it was unsupported. In desperation (after discovering that the excellent plugin above refused to install with the new version of iSync), I deleted my K800i in the bluetooth preference panel. After that iSync agreed that it was supported.
